Protein Business In China
DuPont Protein Technologies, Wilmington, DE, has expanded its business in the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to produce and market soy protein for mainstream foods. The announcement includes a letter of intent to form a joint venture with the Henan Luohe Shineway Industry Group, and a cooperative agreement with the Zhengzhou government to establish DuPont Zhengzhou Protein Co. in the Henan Province. Under the letter of intent, the two businesses plan to build a new facility in Luohe to manufacture soy protein.
